tapestry reverie [noun]
/ˈtapəstri ˈrev(ə)rē/
a dreamlike state woven from fragments of the past;
a vision where history, craft, and imagination intertwine.
Gobelins, or woven tapestry panels, once had their golden era. They adorned living rooms and hallways, cherished as symbols of taste, care, and craftsmanship. But over time, they fell out of fashion. These richly detailed pieces were pushed aside – seen as old-fashioned, heavy, or irrelevant. People began giving them away, discarding them, or simply storing them out of sight.
I saw something different.
Over two years, I slowly collected gobelins from flea markets, vintage shops, and online marketplaces. Strangers offered me theirs – beautiful textiles they no longer had space or use for. What others considered outdated, I saw as layered, textured, and full of forgotten beauty.

Tapestry Reverie represents this vision. A collection that reimagines gobelins not as relics of the past, but as garments that feel alive – full of story, soul, and softness. These pieces invite us into dreamlike scenes and utopian landscapes, offering a moment of stillness in a fast-paced world.
By reworking traditional techniques I grew up with, the collection brings a sense of nostalgia while pushing the boundaries of modern fashion. It’s a celebration of handwork, patience, and timeless design – where history and imagination are woven into every thread.
Why Gobelins – and Why Jackets

Tailoring and gobelins share a deep kinship: both are slow crafts rooted in precision, patience, and storytelling through technique. Whether it’s in the threadwork of a tapestry or the hand-stitching of a tailored seam, every step demands care – and rewards it with something enduring.
I was drawn to the idea of turning these once-static art pieces into garments that move, breathe, and live on. The jacket became my canvas – sculptural and structured – a format that allows the gobelins to speak for themselves while becoming something new.
These pieces are about contrast: softness and structure, past and present, stillness and motion. They offer a quiet escape from the speed of today, inviting the wearer into a dreamlike space where time slows down – even if just for a moment.
Above all, I wanted to honor the original spirit of each tapestry. To keep its soul intact while transforming its function. To give it new relevance without erasing what it was. To make it desirable again – and fun to wear.
Reimagining Tapestry: From Couture to Everyday
The collection is presented in two parallel expressions.
The ready to wear edition includes three ribbed tank tops and a mesh shirt, digitally printed with pixelated Gobelin motifs – a contemporary interpretation of tapestry in a digital world. These are accompanied by two complementing pieces: octopus denim jeans and pleated trouserskirt. All pieces are produced in a small, limited-run series.
Alongside it, the exclusive “art to wear” line showcases couture-level craftsmanship. Each vintage Gobelin is meticulously transformed into a one of a kind tailored garment. This capsule is limited to just 20 pieces, each marked with an A.P. (Artist Proof) tag – wearable artworks, crafted with the highest standards of quality and care.

A rare and exciting art pieces that bridges the new world with the old in an extraordinary way. Who would have imagined that a tapestry once tucked away in my grandmother’s storage room could be transformed with such respect, craftsmanship, and beauty🐙
