Realism

Realism in art is a movement that emerged in the mid-19th century as a reaction against the idealized and exaggerated forms of Romanticism and Neoclassicism. It seeks to depict subjects as they truly are, focusing on everyday life, ordinary people, and the natural world without embellishment or dramatization.

Realist artists emphasize accuracy, attention to detail, and the portrayal of the mundane aspects of life, often highlighting social issues, labor, and the struggles of the working class. This approach aimed to make art more accessible and relevant to contemporary society, capturing reality in a truthful, unidealized manner.

Guy Snir

Introducing the “Pittura alla Prima” collection, a special collaboration that highlights Snir’s incredible skill in the alla prima technique, which involves completing a painting in a single session. This technique demands precision and spontaneity, capturing the essence of a moment with vivid detail and energy.

In the Pittura alla Prima collection, you will find 20 exclusive paintings, each one capturing the mastery of Guy Snir’s alla prima technique. From each painting, we’ve produced a highly limited number of three button shirts, each one carefully crafted and individually numbered 1/3, 2/3, and 3/3. This makes the shirts a truly rare collector’s item, with only three available per painting—ensuring that only you or a select few will have the opportunity to own these wearable works of art.
